Is an economic development project in Vingerkraal.

That started in 2013 with 8 women and has grown into 32 home gardens and a commercial garden with drip irrigation.

They work with a neighboring Elephant Experience to receive dung used as fertilizer and the produce is sold to a neighboring game farm estate restaurant. This joint cooperation between the garden project and neighboring farms is a model for other rural communities.

We are thrilled to announce that our team has been recognized by the Department of Agriculture for their exceptional skills in vegetable gardening. This recognition is a significant achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. In addition to this honor, the Department has generously donated gardening tools, seeds, fertilizer, and water tanks to further support our efforts. If they continue to demonstrate their outstanding gardening abilities, there is a strong possibility of winning this prestigious program.

Let’s continue to support and cheer them on!
