“Every Day Matters” is an economic development sewing program that creates a re-useable environmentally-friendly feminine care product.
The program currently has two approaches.
First is the sewing group of Vingerkraal (Sunshine Creations) that make them for family and friends back in Namibia and to sell to other rural communities. Second are the young ladies of Women in the Making, a mentorship group, located in Bela Bela, South Africa.
This provides an income for program funding while at the same time they learn business, manufacturing, leadership, and economic principles. An important component of this program is the educational aspect for the young ladies and men regarding how to interact with each other and physical health.
